The existing structure of this 1960s house has remained largely unchanged, but it’s the combination of warm, tactile materials, soft lighting, bold artwork and original details that give the space its sexy appeal. Entering through a swinging steel door, the eye is immediately drawn to the glamorous mirror block that reflects the surrounding lush shrubbery. The entire ground floor is adorned with an Afzelia African wood ceiling, further accentuating the sixties vibe.
Our Claystone plaster has been applied to the floors, providing a rough but refined finish that complements the space perfectly. The walls and furniture were treated with our MonoSoft plaster, adding a soft, natural texture that reinforces the warm, welcoming atmosphere. Another stylish element is the thirteen-centimetre-thick round door, which opens effortlessly with a gentle push. Its rounded edges and lack of handles allow it to blend harmoniously into the space, contrasting elegantly with the clay stone floors. The walnut kitchen island, the band of natural stone that extends over the doors and walls, the green lime paint on the walls, the rounded walls and the seating all contribute to the distinctive character of the interior.
