Beach house by Norm Architects(DK)

Plaster: Claystone in: Désert CL.27

Upon entering this home, you immediately feel a sense of calm. Designed to be a tranquil retreat, the space blends seamlessly with the natural surroundings, offering a peaceful escape from everyday stress.

In collaboration with Norm Arkitekter, MUD WORK aimed to create a bathroom that is both sensory and timeless. To achieve this, they used Claystone from ClayLime, a sustainable, clay-based alternative to polished concrete and microcement. Applied to the ceilings, walls, and bathtubs, Claystone enhances the natural beauty of the space, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

The bathing area serves as a private observatory, inviting relaxation and a deep connection with nature. The project exemplifies how thoughtful design and sustainable materials like Claystone can create enduring, harmonious living spaces.
